The logic-based fun of Wordle can't be overstated. Find the right word with just 5 letters and 6 guesses as your target. Can you do that?

Simple rules outline the play: You have 6 tries to guess the secret word (between 4 and 11 letters). Any word on the first line will do to get things rolling. The letter will be highlighted in green if the guess is accurate and it is in the right place, yellow if it is in the word but in the incorrect place, and gray otherwise. You'll eventually be able to deduce the right term from your past tries if you keep at it. It's a mobile and desktop browser game that's free to play.

• To begin, just input any five-letter word below to see which letters match the secret word. You have a total of six chances to correctly guess the secret word. If a letter is highlighted in yellow, it implies it is in the secret word, but not at the specified spot. If a letter is highlighted in green, it means that it appears in that word at that specific occurrence. If a letter doesn't become black, it's because it's not part of the secret word. You may now attempt to uncover the hidden word and win the game by knowing just the letters that are both in the word (yellow) and in the precise position (green).
